If you look closely, you’ll see a rock resembling a praying woman, which gave rise to the name of the cove in Catalan (“Pregar”). You can easily swim to it in about two minutes, but remember to respect the buoys that mark the swimming area and approach from the left side.

Natural pools: The crystal-clear water of the island is perfect for swimming, and you can also find natural pools to snorkel with curious fish and jump from small cliffs.

How to Get to Cala Pregonda by Car:

If you want to reach the beach of Pregonda by car, follow these instructions:

Start from Maó (the capital of Menorca) on the Me-1 road towards Ciutadella.
After approximately 30 kilometers, turn left towards Es Mercadal.
Continue on the Me-15 road for about 12 kilometers until you reach a roundabout.
At the roundabout, take the second exit to continue on the Me-15 road towards Fornells.
Continue on the road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach a junction with a sign indicating “Cala Tirant.”
Turn right at the junction and continue on this road until you reach another roundabout.
At the roundabout, take the second exit to continue on the Me-15 road towards Es Grau.
Continue on the road for about 6 kilometers until you reach a junction with a sign indicating “Binimel·là”.
Turn right at the junction and continue on this road until you reach a parking area near the beach of Binimel·là.
From the parking area, follow the trail that will lead you to Cala Pregonda. Please note that the trail may be somewhat uneven, so be sure to wear suitable footwear.
